Opening

Pre-go-live hospitality software assessment

A timed reading of PMS, POS, booking, and door systems before a property opens or a major cutover, while there is still room to change the sequence.

Typically 10–18 working days, aligned to the opening calendar Quoted against the opening date and systems in scope; a deposit holds the window

Openings compress every interface into a fortnight. We join the last rehearsals, not the kickoff. The assessment is useful when the vendor says ‘ready’ and the rooms manager still cannot run a discrepancy report.

We will not project-manage the opening. We will say, in writing, which paths are not safe to take live and which can wait until week three.

What we examine

  • Cutover sequence and who is allowed to post on day one
  • Training data versus live rates and live payment devices
  • Door lock, PBX, and spa interfaces in the actual rooms
  • Night audit on a dry-run occupancy, not an empty house
  • Vendor support hours versus Malaysian public holidays
  • Fallback: paper, offline POS, and manual keys

What you leave with

A go-live readiness note with a stop/go list by system, plus a 30-day watch list after opening.
