Guest path

Guest-facing app and loyalty review

A review of check-in apps, kiosks, in-stay messaging, and loyalty tools — including what staff can still see after the guest has left.

Typically 5–9 working days Quoted after we inventory the guest-facing tools in use

Guest apps are often bought as a brand flourish and then left with default permissions. We read the guest path and the staff path. If a clerk can open last month’s passport scan without a reason code, that belongs in the report.

Malaysian properties handling guest identification should treat this as an operational review, not a legal opinion. We flag where the application’s retention and access controls do not match what the property believes it is doing.

What we examine

  • Enrolment and consent language versus actual data stored
  • Mobile check-in, key delivery, and fallback at the desk
  • In-stay requests and whether they reach the right department
  • Loyalty earn/burn posting and expiry rules
  • Profile visibility after checkout and after a no-show
  • Push notifications, quiet hours, and opt-out honouring

What you leave with

A guest-path map, access findings, and a list of configuration changes the property can make without a rebuild.
