Booking engine and channel review
A reading of how rates, allotments, and restrictions travel from the PMS to the booking engine and onward to the channels you actually sell.
A booking engine can look tidy on a staging site and still send the wrong child policy to a channel, or drop a stop-sell for an hour while the revenue manager is in a meeting. We compare what the engine displays, what the channel shows, and what arrives in the PMS.
The review is useful before a multi-year channel contract, after a migration, or when reservations keep reconstructing bookings by hand. We do not run your revenue meeting. We show where the applications disagree.
What we examine
- Rate parity between engine, brand.com, and contracted OTAs
- Allotment and stop-sell behaviour during high occupancy
- Restriction mapping: CTA, CTD, min stay, closed to arrival
- Modification and cancellation rules as the guest sees them
- Extra-bed, child, and package handling across channels
- Failure states: what the desk does when a booking does not land
What you leave with
A channel-by-channel discrepancy log and a recommended order of fixes, including items that belong to the vendor.
